  • Where is the parking for the garden festival?

    Parking for festival attendees is available in the Zilker Polo Fields across from The Zilker Botanical Garden for $5 fee. There will be no entrance to the parking on the Polo Fields from Barton Springs Road.  The entrance will be off of the MoPac frontage road (Andrew Zilker Road). New parking meters will be in use at the time of the Festival, charging the standard $5.00 parking fee.  The parking meter takes credit card and coins only. ADA parking is available.

    Cap Metro provides bus transportation to Barton Springs Rd.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Dogs and pets of any kind are NOT ALLOWED at Zilker Botanical Garden during the Festival.  Dogs for physically handicapped individuals are allowed and must be on leash at all times.
  • Can I ride my bike?
    Bikes are allowed and encouraged to help with traffic.  Enjoy half price admission on Sunday, for all who bike to the Festival.  There are bike rack available at both front and back gate entrances.  
  • Can I smoke?
    Smoking is strictly prohibited in all City of Austin parks.

  • Can you purchase tickets in advance for the garden festival?
    Yes, presale tickets will be available online and in the Chrysalis Gift Shop at Zilker Botanical Garden $10 Adult (13+) and $4 Child (4-12).
  • Is golf cart transportation available for festival attendees?
    Yes, we have trained golf cart drivers to transport festival attendees to and from the Polo Fields parking lot, along with their purchases from vendors. Traffic closure is provided by officers from Austin Police Department, to allow for safe crossing on Barton Springs Rd., to and from the festival grounds.
  • Is there a 1st Aid Station available at the garden festival?
    A 1st Aid Station is set up inside the Garden Center Library both days of the garden festival, staffed by licensed nurses. We will be using Austin-Travis County EMS to treat/transport individuals for medical treatment, if necessary.
