
31st Texas Bamboo Festival

The Bamboo Festival is the annual fund raiser for the Texas Bamboo Society Chapter of the American Bamboo Society, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. Proceeds are used to provide research, information, education, assistance to public bamboo gardens, support for bamboo artists, and to bring new varieties to the multi-state region represented by the Texas Bamboo Society.

This is an opportunity to talk to many bamboo experts who have been working with and growing bamboo for 20 – 30 years so bring all your bamboo questions! Here’s a preview of the activities and vendors in store at this event:
- Workshop: Bamboo Basics of Working with Bamboo – with Michael Schaefer

- Bamboo Plants for Sale – Propagated by a very special Texas Bamboo Society Member

- William Harjo – Native American Flute Maker
- Bamboo Branch – Bamboo poles, Garden Stakes, Special Bamboo Pieces, Bamboo Beads & hand crafted bamboo jewelry
- Bamboo Reflections – Native American Flutes – locally made
- Paintings and Jewelry by Sung Cha Brooks
- Soulscape – Discover the power of sound therapy in helping to manage stress and find balance.
- Aloha Tropical Productions – Theme Party Adventures
- Silent Auction – A unique collection of bamboo oddities up for silent auction. If you would like to donate some bamboo items for the silent auction – please send email.
