Austin Herb Society July Meeting: “Oh, the Places We Go!”
July 7 @ 9:30 am – 11:30 am
This meeting will feature member journeys to gardens across the world & a garden-inspired “show and tell” of their favorite tools, tips and tricks.
AHS members are invited to share their own botanical adventures & are encouraged to bring and/or describe a beloved or tried-and-true garden tool, technique & plant as part of the program.
- AHS Field Trip Chair, Andra Millian will share photos from Lotusland in Montecito, California, where a group of AHS members traveled last July.
- Past-President Molly Ogorzaly, will share images from botanical gardens in Sydney & Melbourne, Australia, and Wellington, New Zealand.
- Horticulture VP Bonnie Orr, will share photos from her recent trip to Croatia, where she saw herbs growing wild throughout the landscape.
- Communications Co-VP Norise Jastillana, will share photos from the 140-acre Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix.
