Austin Ikebana Group November Meeting

November 7 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

Old and new Ikebana friends, Austin Ikebana Group is inviting you to join our November 7th event. AIG member Beth Zimpelman will be demonstrating arrangements using driftwood. Ikebana and driftwood are often combined in art as driftwood provides a natural, sculptural base or element for Ikebana arrangements, offering a contrast to floral elements and creating dynamic, visually interesting compositions that emphasize nature’s beauty and structure.

This event is free and open to the public (adults only) to attend as guest observers (no flower materials provided). With limited seats in the Auditorium, pre-registration is required by November 4th. Please email austinikebanagroup@gmail.com to RSVP.

Speaker Bio: Beth Zimpelman has been a member of Austin Ikebana Group since 1978 and a member of the San Antonio Ikenobo Group since 1980. Beth studied with Susan Franagan, Jay Marie Buttross and Don Olsen, receiving her teaching certification from Japan.

Open to the public, free to attend. Open to the public, free to attend.
