Austin Ikebana Group September Meeting

Old and new Ikebana friends, Austin Ikebana Group is inviting you to join our September 5th event. Frances Fortanely will be demonstrating an Ikenobo Freestyle design arrangement using seasonal plant materials.

This event is free and open to the public (adults only) to attend as guest observers (no flower materials provided). With limited seats in the Auditorium, pre-registration is required by September 2nd. Please email austinikebanagroup@gmail.com to RSVP.

Speaker Bio: Frances Fortanely is a new floral designer who has a passion for blending Eastern and Western floral designs together. Currently, her favorite Ikebana school is the Ikenobo school and her favorite design is Freestyle because there are less rules and more leeway. She is the owner of Poppymallow Floral Design specializing in workshops, small events, and custom arrangements. She also has a full time job working for a high tech company.
