Butterfly Gardening – Attracting Butterflies to Your Garden

Our Speaker Anita Knight will share a presentation on which plants are best to add to your garden to attract butterflies.

Speaker Bio: Anita S. Knight retired from product safety with health & environmental science departments in the chemical industry and moved to Austin in 2004. She has a B.S. in biology and chemistry and graduate work in environmental science. In 2005, she took the guide training at Wild Basin Preserve, and later National Wildlife Federation Habitat Steward training; and she has enjoyed learning about the natural environment in the Hill Country, as well as interacting with kids from pre-school to high school ages, including school groups at the Colorado River Alliance and Zilker Botanical Garden.
