SUMMARY:Bees Beyond Borders\, presented by Gulay Akkus Nart
DESCRIPTION:Gulay will present the ecology of beekeeping from the perspective of her Turkish heritage as is practiced on her family’s Symrna Farm in Burnet\, TX.  She will broaden her beekeeping as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This event will be in collaboration with the United Nations Association of Austin. \n\n\n\nA light lunch will be served that will include honey and fresh produce with a distinctive Turkish/Mediterranean palette. This will take place in the Garden Center Auditorium.
