Join us for Dino Days at Zilker Botanical Garden this March — a two-weekend family-friendly celebration of the Cretaceous period with hands-on activities, fossil talks, scavenger hunts, themed games, and creative workshops included with garden admission. On select dates, enjoy interactive prehistoric planter workshops, engaging paleontology presentations, fossil touch tables, and the Dino Days Closing Parade with Blowcomotion.

Join us for a hands-on Park Ranger program: Skins and Skulls!
Stop by today to explore fascinating biofacts from some feathered and scaly dinosaur descendants. With a special focus on birds and reptiles, you’ll get an up-close look at bird wings and skulls, reptile skins, turtle shells, and discover how today’s wildlife connects to the age of dinosaurs. Park rangers will be on hand to answer your questions about local birds, reptiles, and their prehistoric relatives.
