DESCRIPTION:Registration for this program has now closed.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis summer\, we are excited to host a series of family-friendly culinary classes called Family CharKIDerie! As a family program\, one child and one parent/guardian will work together during the class. In this first session\, we will tour the Taniguchi Japanese Garden and then create Japanese Garden-inspired charcuterie boards. You will learn to make veggie sushi\, served with edamame\, apple walnut salad\, and for dessert\, a strawberry shortcake all arranged delightfully on a board. \n\n\n\n\nRegistration Closed\n\n\n\n\nMembers receive 15% off. Registration includes garden admission for 1 child and 1 adult. \n\n\n\nAbout the Instructor:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMy name is Cindy\, and I created CharKIDerie to combine my passions for teaching\, making healthy food\, and helping kids become more independent and confident. CharKIDerie began as an after-school program designed to create a fun and interactive environment for preparing and trying new foods together.
