Heart of Texas Orchid Society Workshop: Growing Orchids with Confidence 101
June 20 @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

If you have struggled to keep an orchid alive or if your orchids are not thriving and re-blooming, this workshop is for you. We have all killed an orchid and learned from the experience!
Our speakers will discuss the variables that determine how well your plants will grow: temperature, light levels, watering, fertilization, diseases and pest control, and how/when to re-pot them. There will be a re-potting demo. Learn the “secret” for getting moth orchids to bloom. Want to win a nice orchid? We’ll have raffle tickets for sale! Pick up American Orchid Society (AOS) culture sheets for popular genera and find out where to buy orchids locally. Monica and Pat can answer your questions about greenhouse and indoor/outdoor orchid growing.
The workshop fee is $20. This fee does not include garden admission. HoTOS members may attend the workshop for free but must pay the garden admission charge. Workshop space is limited.
***PLEASE NOTE: Email us your name and phone number to reserve a spot. We will reply to confirm your RSVP and provide options for paying the workshop fee.***
