It’s My Park Day
November 1 @ 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
It’s My Park Day is Austin Parks Foundation’s biannual, community-led day of service. Volunteers work to improve parks and green spaces around Austin and build community through projects like litter cleanup, tree mulching, invasive species management and more.
For more than 20 years, It’s My Park Day has brought volunteers from across Austin together to improve their local parks and build community. All projects are led by community members to encourage neighbors to come out, lend a hand and connect with fellow park lovers from all walks of life. This is a day many look forward to all year as we celebrate the people and parks that make Austin special!

Join the Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy in the Oak Grove
The Oak Grove is our most popular picnic area for school tours. Volunteers will help spread 30 square cubic yards of fresh pecan mulch for the Fall season. We also invite you to enjoy the rest of the Garden after your shift, starting with a guided tour of our private cactus collection! 🌵
Mark your calendars and be on the look out for the official Austin Parks Foundation Registration Link. Volunteers must register through Austin Parks Foundation for a t-shirt.
We will post the registration link here, when it is available.
Remember to wear your volunteer shirt around town for rewards and local freebies from the many Austin Parks Foundation Partners.
