DESCRIPTION:Member mornings are held at 8 am every second Saturday. This beloved tradition is our way of saying thank you for being part of the Garden family.  \n\n\n\nBeginning at 8 am\, ZBGC members can enjoy the following free of charge: \n\n\n\n\nCoffee with the Curator: Enjoy a cup of coffee while engaging in a Q&A with our curator. Meet at the Children’s Garden near the back of the parking lot by 9:30 am to be escorted to the greenhouse. You bring the cup\, we’ll bring the coffee.\n\n\n\nMorning Wellness Class: Start your day with a rejuvenating flow and a special sound bath experience at 9 am. RSVP here.\n\n\n\nEducational Workshops: Learn and grow with hands-on activities and expert-led sessions. \n\n\n\n\nNot a member yet? Please note that member program discounts do not extend to AHS Reciprocal members. \n\n\n\nAbout the Curator \n\n\n\nAs Curator\, Jeff is responsible for the development of the Garden’s living collections. This includes the cataloging and labeling of plants as well as caring for and expanding greenhouse collections. Jeff has been working in horticulture for 18 years and is an expert on succulent flora. He is the VP of Education for the Austin Cactus and Succulent Society and serves as the Immediate Past President of the Cactus and Succulent Society of America. In 2015\, he helped found the Conservancy and was Interim Executive Director from 2018 to 2020. Prior to working with plants\, he received a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas with an emphasis on graphic design\, photography\, and printmaking. Originally from near Houston\, Jeff has called Austin home since 1988. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBecome A Member
