Member Morning
July 12 @ 8:00 am – 10:30 am
Member mornings are held at 8 am every second Saturday of each month. This beloved tradition is our way of saying thank you for being part of the Zilker Botanical Garden family!
Beginning at 8 am, ZBGC members can enjoy the following free of charge:
- Member Morning Wellness: Start your morning in the garden on the South Lawn with Collette OM at 8 AM. Free for members, $15 registration for nonmembers. Yoga mat and water bottle are encouraged!
- Coffee with the Curator: Enjoy a cup of coffee while engaging in a Cacti and Succulent Q&A with Curator Jeff Pavlat, starting at 9:30am. Meet at the Children’s Garden near the back of the parking lot at that time to be escorted to the greenhouse. You bring the cup, we’ll bring the coffee!
- Special Faerie-Themed Planter Workshop: Join our Education Coordinator Janie Trevino in the Oak Grove for a Make-and-Take Faerie Planter Workshop.
- Nature Based Activities: Celebrate The Woodland Faerie Trail Closing Ceremony with the Conservancy! We will have free nature-based crafting, face painting, and fresh cut flower crowns. Everyone is invited to the Oak Grove at 11 AM for the official crowning of this year’s Faerie House Competition winners!
