About CTXMS
We are a member-supported, volunteer-run group of united Central Texans dedicated to working with fungi. Fungi are foundational species for nearly all terrestrial life—critical links between the health of soil, plants, and fresh water. The Central Texas Mycological Society bridges science and art through multidisciplinary public programs, exhibitions, and community science, using fungal intelligence as a creative and ecological ally to restore resilience in the natural world.
