Rasti Draw: Unplug and Draw

Take a break from screens and reconnect with something simple: drawing. Try something new, meet new people, and leave with a memory. 

This 90-minute session is about slowing down, noticing the world around you, and enjoying the quiet act of sketching. Rasti will guide you through a relaxed, beginner-friendly experience using real objects for inspiration—like plants, stones, or whatever’s in front of us.

No pressure. No phones. No experience needed. Just come in, unplug, and draw.

All materials provided.

Class is recommended for ages 12 and up, all minors must be accompanied by guardian.

Artist Bio: Rasti is a professional concept artist and drawing instructor from the Czech Republic, now based in Austin. 

He has experience in both the game industry and art education, and his teaching focuses on clarity, structure, and helping people reconnect with the joy of drawing. 

His sessions are simple, focused, and made for anyone—whether you’re just starting or picking it back up after years.

• Pencils (2B)
• Hand-held pencil sharpeners
• Erasers
• Micron pens (005, 01, 02, 03, 05)
• Colored pencils, in a variety of earth tones
• Drawing paper (14×17 or 18×24)
• Soft pastels

Know Before You Go

• Meet in the Auditorium, located in the main building adjacent to the Gift Shop
• You are welcome to arrive as early as 9:00 AM to check in and get settled – class will start right at 9:30 AM
• This class will take place both indoors and outdoors
