Tejas Garden Stars January Meeting

“Art + Gardening” explores the relationship between the two, both locally and in the wider world. It is intended to inspire you as a gardener, stretch your imagination, and broaden your awareness of gardening as an artistic practice. It does not serve as a specific “how-to” demonstration. There will be time for discussion at the end.

Speaker Bio: Jean Graham was a longtime City of Austin leader and artist in the Art in Public Places program. She worked with neighbors in the Crestview/Brentwood areas of Central Austin to create a beautiful mosaic Wall of Welcome, along with many other public projects. She spent a decade organizing and curating exhibits at the Austin Museum of Art (now Contemporary). She will share her passion and experience in creating art in gardens.
