About the Program
Outdoor experiences are a vital part of whole-child development and school readiness, from improving gross motor skills to reducing anxiety and improving self-regulation. In children’s increasingly digitized environment, support for families’ outdoor access and knowledge about the power of outdoor play is more important than ever.
NCFL’s Let’s Learn Together Outside (LLTO) 4-session playgroup curriculum ensures that all parenting adults have the tools they need to help children gain the full benefits of outdoor learning and play. Designed for families with children ages 3-5, LLTO focuses on improving access to and enjoyment of natural spaces while building a foundation for kindergarten readiness.
