Photography Session Information
Session Timing
September 1 – May 31
- Sessions may begin at 9:00 AM
- Must arrive no later than 2:30 PM
- Must end by 4:30 PM
June 1 – August 31 (Summer Hours)
- Sessions may begin at 8:00 AM
- Must arrive no later than 1:30 PM
- Must end by 3:30 PM
Cost
- $50 per session
- Includes admission for:
- Photographer
- Photographer’s Assistant
- All other guests must purchase general admission tickets
Photography Guidelines
- We do not provide photographers
- No changing rooms are available
- Stay out of garden beds, even if they look empty—plants are growing just below the surface
- Do not pose subjects in trees, on rock walls, or on high rocks
- Leave enough room on pathways for other guests to pass
- Photographers may not ask other visitors to leave an area—please wait until it is clear to continue
- The garden is on a hill; we recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and carrying heeled shoes between shots
- Prohibited: balloons, confetti, candles, banners, and similar items

Professional video and photography at Zilker Botanical Garden for commercial use requires a City permit. Visit this page to determine whether your project requires a permit. The use of drones in the Garden is prohibited without the proper permit.

Reglas Importantes
- No proporcionamos fotógrafos
- No hay vestidores disponibles
- No te acerques ni poses en los macizos de flores, aunque parezcan vacíos—las plantas están creciendo justo debajo
- No poses a los sujetos en árboles, muros de piedra, o rocas altas
- Deja espacio libre en los senderos para otros visitantes
