Amira will present a captivating demonstration and lead a hands-on workshop with the theme “Welcome Spring.” This event is free for the public (adults only) to attend as guest observers-no flower materials provided. About the Presenter
Amira Matsuda, a dedicated Ikebana artist with nearly three decades of experience, has been teaching the art of Japanese flower arrangement since 1999. As the founder of the Ikebana4U School in Plano, she has mentored over 200 students, with 30 earning their teaching diplomas. Holding the prestigious Riji degree—the highest rank in the Sogetsu School—Amira is a respected leader in the Ikebana community, having served as Director of the Sogetsu Dallas Branch and President of Ikebana International Dallas Chapter #13. Her numerous artistic contributions include international exhibitions, workshops, and cultural collaborations that celebrate and promote Japanese art worldwide.
