Free Days at the Zilker Botanical Garden

The Garden is a sanctuary, a place to be in touch with the seasons and refresh our spirits. That is why the City of Austin in conjunction with the Parks and Recreation Department offers “free days” to  Zilker Botanical Garden, thus waiving visitor fees. Due to Covid-19 capacity limits, reservations must be made online prior to admission to the garden.

Please reserve tickets via the link to ensure you arrive at the garden during the specified time and enter with limited contact.

Note: On Free Days, general admission parking is available on Stratford Drive.

ADA access is available at the entrance on Barton Springs Drive.

NOTE: all visitors to ZBG during the 2020 Free Days must park in the lot on Stratford Drive and enter through the back entrance, at the lower section of the garden.

Please enjoy your visit! At the admission kiosk, staff will scan your ticket from your phone or printed receipt to allow entrance to the garden. Be sure your entire party checks in together during the time-frame purchased. All guests are asked to adhere to safe social distancing guidelines, and we recommend wearing a mask during your visit. Re-entry is not currently permitted.

Thank you for visiting our urban oasis. Please note Garden trails are temporarily one way. Visit zilkergarden.org/map-gardens/ to view a map.

On Free Days, no admission price is required, but donations are always welcome.
