Fall Tomatoes Workshop with Tim Miller

Join Tim Miller of Millberg Farms to learn how to grow the best heirloom-certified organic tomato through the Fall/winter. Each participant will receive a tomato with instructions. The secrets out to those who know Tim because he has been raising this delicious medium-sized tomato for 20 years. You can harvest fruits from November until March. Excellent to harvest green or left on the vine to ripen red. We will discuss growing in containers, types of support, soil mix, and the importance of OMRI organic-approved fertilizer.

This workshop is the October meeting for the Austin Organic Gardeners and is open to the public. Visitors of the Garden will need to pay general admission in addition to a $20 material fee in order to attend this workshop. This fee covers materials used as well as flowers to take home after the class.
