About the Presenter

Julien Baruch has been growing orchids his whole life, but his orchid knowledge really accelerated eight years ago when he joined the Sarasota Orchid Society. He went on to intern at the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Gardens for The Million Orchid Project before moving to Apopka, Florida, to work at Krull-Smith. Julien has been learning from Frank Smith and has been working on the nursery’s hybridization for the past four years. In addition to hybridizing, he manages Krull-Smith’s sales, website, and social media.
Julien is an associate judge for the American Orchid Society at the Florida-North Central Judging Center.
