John Dromgoole is one of the pioneers of the natural foods and organic gardening scene in Austin. Beginning his work in the early ’90s, he is now one of the nation’s foremost champions on organic gardening, enduring radio host, TV personality, and public speaker. He is a longtime supporter and friend of Zilker Garden and garden clubs, who know him as owner and founder of The Natural Gardener – a retail organic garden center, and destination for all Austin area gardeners. John can often be found at the store and in the gardens. His schedule stays busy, as he enjoys sharing his years of knowledge with everyone.
