How to Spot Pollinators: Tales and Trails

October 26 @ 11:00 am 12:00 pm

Included with admission, free for Conservancy members

Talks and Walks in the Garden (TWiG) is a monthly workshop presented by one of AAGC’s 23 garden clubs and offers opportunities to learn as you walk through Zilker Botanical Gardens. This month, the Austin Herb Society offers a fun workshop as part of Roots and Wings.

Designed especially for children 6-10 years old, this TWiG is a fun activity that visually shows children how to spot pollinators in the Zilker Herb Garden. Two of the Herb Society’s best speakers, Kate Alsobrook and Susan Norwood, bring their skills as herbalists, teachers, and storytellers to this TWiG. In addition to leading AHS’ Grow Group, Kate and Susan are expert herb growers and know about the many uses for herbs – culinary, medicinal, decorative, and of course, in the landscape – and how to bring pollinators to your garden!

Meet at the Herb Garden at 10:45 – starts at 11 am.
