Austin has two regularly occurring hummingbird species that spend the summer with us, but did you
know there are a few that winter here too? Learn more about this fascinating group of birds and what
you can do to help them thrive.

About the Presenter
Chris Gunter is a native Austinite and has been birding for over 40 years. He’s a Master Birder and Master Naturalist. Chris is a former president of Travis Audubon and is currently on the board of directors.
He enjoys leading bird walks, teaching birding classes, and giving talks.
