Ikebana Demonstration – The Art of Japanese Flower Arranging
Old and new Ikebana friends, Austin Ikebana Group is inviting you to join our May event. Professor Vivian Miller will demonstrate the art of Japanese flower arranging.
This event is free and open to the public (adults only) to attend as guest observers (no flower materials provided). With limited seats in the Auditorium, pre-registration is required by April 29th. Please email austinikebanagroup@gmail.com to RSVP.

Professor Vivian Miller
Professor Vivian Miller (Diploma Level Saiko-shoku Sokatoku Okuden Sankajo) has studied with the Ikenobo School in the US and Japan for 30+ years and has taught traditional and modern forms of Ikebana for 20+ years. Her arrangements exhibited at numerous venues, including the Kyoto Tanabata (Star Festival) exhibition, the Newark New Jersey Cherry Blossom Festival, and the San Antonio Asian Festival.
She is a member of the Ikenobo Floral Art Society of the United States and Texas and President of the San Antonio chapter of Ikebana International. She teaches regularly at her home and at Texas Ikebana study groups.
