Korean Natural Farming with Austin Moline

Austin Moline will break down how gardeners can use Korean Natural Farming KNF techniques and use inputs from local resources, utilizing indigenous soil biology to promote soil health, and managing fertility based on the growth stage of the crop. This class will cover the basics of terminology, input creation, and principles of KNF.
About the Speaker: Austin Moline has been working in agriculture for the last 8 years. He has worked on a variety of farms including a vegetable CSA in Oregon, an apple orchard in Massachusetts, and he currently manages a pecan orchard in Elgin, Texas, and experiments with KNF and ecological farming practices on his and his wife’s farm. He completed a permaculture design certification in 2016 and has presented on KNF at the Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association conference and hosted a KNF workshop in partnership with TOFGA and the PureKNF Foundation in 2019.
