🌒 Join us for a celestial spectacle at Zilker Botanical Garden on April 8th! Experience the magic of a Solar Eclipse with free admission and complimentary solar glasses (while supplies last).

Know Before You Go

• Registration: Admission is free all day on April 8th. No prior registration is required for entry. Guests will be admitted to the Garden on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Free Eclipse Viewers: The Garden will have free solar viewers available to attendees and these will be available while supplies last
• Parking: Please note that parking will be extremely limited for this event. Paid parking is available in the greater Zilker Park area, including the lot off of Stratford Drive, adjacent to our overflow gate, until they reach capacity. We kindly encourage attendees to consider ridesharing or arriving on foot to help alleviate congestion and ensure a smooth experience for all. Thank you for your cooperation.
• Capacity: Please be aware that capacity limits will be strictly enforced for this event. Once the Garden reaches its capacity, guests may unfortunately be turned away. We appreciate your understanding and help in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
• Disaster Declaration: Travis County has issued a disaster declaration for this day. Learn more about that here and please travel safely!
• Food and Drink: The garden has snacks and drinks available in the Gift Shop, as well as Cannone Gelato and Pretty Cute Coffee located in the parking lot. We encourage a picnic if you intend to stay through lunch. 
• Hours: The Garden is open 9am-6pm, with final entry at 5:30pm.
