Tales of Shears and Tears

It’s hard to look at those dry branches and dead leaves on your plants, but some gardeners say, “Leave them alone and let the birds have a place to escape the cold.” OR, “Only cut if you really can’t stand the sight.” Join longtime AAGC and AHS club member Karen Kalergis for this fun exploration of “To Cut or Not to Cut.”

The workshop will start out in the Greene Room with tips on how to prepare your tools, and then, weather permitting, venture into the Garden to trim or not to trim. Karen will share lessons learned from using or not using those shears, including how to resist cutting your own hair when the urge to trim something takes over!
