Cacti & Succulents with Yaupon Garden Club

Join us for the monthly Yaupon Garden Club meeting! There will be a special presentation from the Zilker Botanical Garden Conservancy’s Curator, Jeff Pavlat, on cacti and succulents.

About the Presenter

Having spent his childhood in the Middle East, Jeff Pavlat grew up with an appreciation of the desert’s beauty and the plants that grow there. In Austin, he developed a fascination for succulents. He is an expert on succulent flora and maintains a large collection of rare plants. He has dedicated many years to the Garden serving in various roles, and was most recently named the curator for the newly acquired cactus and succulent collection. Before working with plants, Jeff received a BFA in Studio Art, from the University of Texas with an emphasis on graphic design, photography, and printmaking.
