Fermentation Workshop with Austin Organic Gardeners

The incredible power of fermentation is all around us- cheese, yogurt, bread, beer, wine, sauerkraut, kimchi, etc. The magic of fermentation has nourished human civilization since ancient times! Fermented foods add essential nutrition and complex flavor to our diets and benefit our gut microflora and immune response. Join AOG members David Forrest and Johnny Hilbun for a workshop on fermentation- specifically simple and satisfying vegetable ferments and incredible old-style sourdough bread, both the how and the why.
Donations accepted for supplies. Register at AustinOrganicGardeners.org and then purchase general admission tickets to ZBG. If you are a ZBGC member this program is free. Garden admission can be purchased online in advance or onsite upon arrival.
This workshop will take place in the Oak Grove.
