Toddler Yoga with ATX Yoga Girl

Come stretch, breathe, move, dance, relax, and have FUN! These classes will include age-appropriate yoga and movement- including breathing, poses, games, stories, music, relaxation, meditation, and more. Your little yogi will get to practice fine and gross motor skills, social and group skills, and begin to learn mindfulness and breathing/calming tools. All ages are welcome but these classes are geared toward toddlers. Recommended for walkers to age 4, children must be accompanied by an adult.
This class takes place every Thursday at 10 am from September 7th through November 30th with the following exclusions: 11/23.
Advance online registration is available, walk-ins are welcome, and tickets are $15 per class, $10 for members, $3 for children (ages 3-17), and free for ages 0-2. This ticket includes access to the Garden after class.
What to bring: water, clothes you can move in, and a yoga mat.
Location: Classes will take place in the Mabel Davis Rose Garden under the Heritage Oaks, next to the pond.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Cynthia Aguillón Bernard, founder and CEO of ATX Yoga Girl LLC is an Austin-based certified yoga and mindfulness teacher. She also specializes in sound meditation and trauma-informed yoga for kids through teens and is a certified kids and family yoga teacher. She credits these styles of holistic practices that have supported her through life’s ever-changing seasons.
Cynthia is known for holding soul-conscious sessions for all ages as she combines storytelling and music to create a playful environment where everyone feels welcome. She devotes much of her time to leading our next generation of conscious change-makers through movement, mindfulness, art, and fun! Sparking JOY wherever she goes.
You can find her monthly teaching at some of Austin’s iconic nature spaces, teaching kids’ yoga at ACL Festival, and view her kid’s yoga videos on the Find What Feels Good App. When she isn’t hosting a community class, Cynthia is hiking with her husband while continuing to integrate the same peace, presence, and self-love she experiences on the mat, out in everyday life.
