BATS 101 with Yaupon Garden Club

Historically, bats have had a bad reputation. They are the subject of lots of myths that Coco Brennan will burst. Coco will talk about the benefits bats provide humans, their importance to our ecosystem, the threats to bats, and what we can do to help them. Her presentation will be informative and educational not only about bats in general but also the Mexican Freetail bats, as the Freetail bats are the most common in our area.

Coco Brennan is a Texas Master Naturalist & volunteer educator for Bat Conservation International (“BCI”). She has been working with BCI for the last 15 years. Her presentation will be informative
and educational in order to help us understand more about bats and their importance to our ecosystem.
