Dog Days of Summer

Join us at Zilker Botanical Garden for our annual celebration of furry friends at the Dog Days of Summer event! On August 26th, bring your pups to enjoy a variety of vendors and pup pools, and learn about keeping your dogs safe in the heat.

🐾 Pawsome Adoptions: The Austin Humane Society will be here with adorable pups looking for their forever homes. Plus, Austin Pets Alive! will have post-parvo pups ready for adoption, waiting to become a part of your loving family.

🐾 9:30 am Unleash the Fun: Watch captivating dog training demos by Barks & Rec ATX on the Oak Grove stage and learn how to bring out the best in your furry companion. 

🐾 Games and Giveaways: Tomlinson’s will be providing exciting games and fabulous giveaways for dogs and their humans.

🐾 10:30 am Bark Ranger Certification Class: Take a break from the heat with your furry friend and earn the coveted Bark Ranger certification together inside the Auditorium.

🐾 Treats for All: Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches is donating delicious kolaches to kick off the day and Wildway Granola is generously giving out free granola to keep you humans energized throughout the event! Barkin’ Creek will also be joining us, bringing complimentary treats for your pups, along with a selection of premium items available for purchase and nail trimming services to pamper your furry friends. Plus adorable dog bandanas will be available for purchase from The Doggie Spot Shop!

🐾New to the scene: The Bone Inn will also be joining with free homemade treats, pup giveaway items, and bonus pup pools!

🐾 Furry Friend Resources: We are thrilled to announce the presence of Modern Animal as a valuable resource at the event. Modern Animal will be offering valuable insights and information about pet care. What’s more, they will have both dog and human giveaways that attendees can look forward to!
