Orchid Photography Workshop

Do you have beautiful orchids in bloom, but just can’t capture their vibrant colors with your camera?
Then this workshop is for you.

Join us for the Heart of Texas Orchid Society’s monthly meeting! Our featured speakers will be HOTOS members Emily Pace and Ron Infante. They will guide you in how to achieve that stunning photo.

The workshop will cover getting to know your camera, elements affecting exposure, and AOS show
photography guidelines. Following the lecture phase, you will apply what you’ve learned.
Bring your digital/film camera or phone with you to the meeting. If you have an orchid that you would
like to photograph, bring that too. If it’s in flower, you may also put it on the show table for a chance of
(minor) fame.

Please note that virtual attendees will be able to hear the lecture portion but will not be able to
participate in the workshop format.

About the Presenter

Emily Pace and Ron Infante are active members of the Heart of Texas Orchid Society.
Emily is a graduate student at UT and serves as HOTOS’s 1st Vice President of Social Media.
In addition to working full-time, Ron was accepted into the American Orchid Society Judging
program.
