Propriate Plants for Proximity to Ponds will be presented by Reeve Hobbie, who earlier this year shared his “If Plants Could Talk” presentation. As a former Travis County Master Gardener, Reeve will provide a collection of plants that he has successfully grown here in Central Texas over the past 40 years.
The plants he plans to focus on will be great candidates for shady and moist soil conditions. You’ll hear about favorite annuals, perennials, grasses, shrubs, and trees that won’t necessarily be “marginal” or “bog” plants but will help beautify the areas around your ponds, streams, and water features.
About the Presenter
A former Travis County Master Gardener, Reeve Hobbie will provide a collection of plants that he has successfully grown here in Central Texas over the past 40 years.
