Woodland Faerie Trail Opening Celebration

Calling all magical beings!

Step into a world of wonder and enchantment as the 2024 Woodland Faerie Trail opens its gates once again on May 18th! Guests of all ages are invited to wear their best faerie costumes or wings and join in the celebration!

Explore 75 faerie homes built by the community on display for a short time this Summer. On opening day, enjoy arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, and even dance with a faerie! Magical surprises await…

The Woodland Faerie Trail is included with general admission and free for Conservancy members. General admission can be purchased online in advance or upon arrival.

What to Expect

Faerie Flight Class
10am & 12pm
Wear your wings and take flight! This FREE faerie-themed creative movement class encourages the development of balance, strength, and self-expression. Led by Lexi Beriswell of Barton Springs Pilates. Spots are limited, register to secure a spot.

Woodland Faerie Home Community Competition

Explore the trail and vote for your favorites! The faerie homes with the most votes will be announced at the Farewell to Faeries on July 13th. Winners must be present to win and will receive a Family Membership to the Garden! Categories: Most Magical, Favorite Theme, & Best in Show.

Voting cards can be found in the gift shop and must be returned to be counted. QR codes will also be available along the trail for digital voting.
