Austin Daylily Society

The Austin Daylily Society, a non-profit organization, was established for educational and scientific purposes. The society seeks to encourage and foster the development and improvement of the Daylily and to foster public interest and knowledge of the species for home and civic beautification.

We’re affiliated with the American Daylily Society, Region 6, and the Austin Area Garden Council. Here are some of our activities:

  • American Hemerocallis Society Gold member club (90% membership in AHS)
  • Annual Daylily Show accredited by American Hemerocallis Society.
  • As part of our volunteer service as an Austin Area Garden Council member, we provide care and maintenance of the Daylily display beds at Zilker Botanical Garden

Club meetings: Join us on the first Thursday of the month (except January, June, July, and December) in the Zilker Garden Center. Refreshments, sponsored by meeting hosts, are served at 6:30 pm and our meetings begin at 7:00 pm. Please visit www.austindaylily.org for a calendar of meeting topics and guest speakers.
