Mush Love: A Mushroom Gardening Workshop

Included with admission, free for Conservancy members

February 11 @ 9:00 am 11:00 am

Join us for an outdoor, hands-on workshop and learn what mush-luv is all about. This workshop will give you the practical knowledge to learn how to grow mushrooms using mycelium blocks lovingly donated by local mushroom farms. Not only will you be learning to grow mushrooms, build healthy soil, sequester carbon, feed the soil web, your plants, and eventually you! You will also be helping divert organic matter from the waste stream! Mother earth will love you.

BYOBucket: Don’t buy anything new. Let’s recycle. Any container with holes in it will work including a cardboard box. Examples: 2-5 gallon bucket or sturdy planter pot, laundry basket, milk crate, or crate for vegetables, wire mesh containers like a birdhouse, or strawberry pot.

Included with General Admission tickets to ZBG, free for ZBGC members. Register to let us know you’ll be in attendance via this link: https://www.austinorganicgardeners.org/store/p319/mush-lov-workshop.html

This will take place in the Oak Grove.
