Zilker Shuttle Returns for Summer

Weekends and Holidays May 25-September 2, 2024

The Zilker Shuttle returns from Saturday, May 25 through Monday, September 2, 2024. The Zilker Shuttle will run from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday, in addition to Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Labor Day. This is the third summer the free shuttle service will operate from the One Texas Center parking garage at 505 Barton Springs Rd. to Zilker Park. The service will utilize three vehicles, a new route, and pilot an additional pick-up location within the park. No dogs or other pets are allowed on the shuttle.

Please be advised: The Zilker Shuttle does not pick up/drop off at the main entrance to Zilker Botanical Garden (2220 Barton Springs Rd.) but does pick up and drop off near the back entrance located at 2300 Stratford Drive. This secondary entrance gate is only open on peak visitation days once our main parking lot is full. If this gate is not open, guests will need to walk to the main entrance on Barton Springs Rd.

Option 1: Free Off-Site Parking and Free Shuttle to Park

Park in the One Texas Center parking garage, 505 Barton Springs Road. The shuttle driver will validate the paid parking garage ticket and drop riders off at the westbound CapMetro Route 30 Bus Stop adjacent to the Great Lawn. For a return to One Texas Center, riders will be picked up from the eastbound CapMetro Route 30 Bus Stop adjacent to the Rugby Field/Pecan Grove.

Option 2: Paid Parking Within the Park and Free Shuttle

Park in the gravel parking lot along Stratford Drive and utilize the pay-to-park stations. The shuttle driver will pick up riders from the designated stop and drop them off at the eastbound CapMetro Route 30 Bus Stop adjacent to the Rugby Field/Pecan Grove.

Zilker Botanical Garden offers limited free parking onsite for guests who purchase admission. If the Garden’s main parking lot is full, the gate attendant will re-direct traffic to the overflow lot located at 2300 Stratford Dr.
